Designed and shipped an iOS app that turns a photo of discharge paperwork, a pill bottle or a home monitor into a plain-language care plan: medicines explained, doses on a calendar, readings with their normal ranges.
Made the core call that nothing the app reads from a photo is saved until the person confirms it, card by card. It cost the effortless demo. It is also why a wrong dose gets caught on screen instead of landing silently in someone's calendar.
Ran usability sessions with people recently home from hospital and with family caregivers, then acted on what they missed. A review screen people scrolled straight past became a short summary followed by one card per item.
Cut a custom measuring camera the day I built it, after it gave two different sizes for the same mark. Replaced millimeters with four words a patient can act on: initial, improving, worsening, no change.
Owned the whole path alone — research, flows, interface, the words on screen, the build and App Store submission. Designed and built solo, and AI-paired throughout with Claude Code.
