About me.

I'm Jayden. I studied computer engineering at UC Santa Barbara, and then spent four years at Internet Brands as the QA owner for Nolo.com and WillMaker — one consumer website, one desktop app, both used by people sorting out something stressful.

Four years of that is four years of watching shipped software fail real people: the step nobody gets past, the field that quietly loses your work, the error that tells you nothing. It taught me a product isn't done when it works. It's done when it works for someone tired and in a hurry.

So now I design and build my own, end to end. Both projects here are mine from the first sketch to release, and I took that whole scope on purpose. During the day I'm at Panda Enterprises, coordinating ocean export shipments in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. I'm looking for a consumer product team that will hand me a whole product and let me own it.
